BURNING: Pierre Aglow Newsletter February 2011 - A

PIERRE AGLOW NEWSLETTER NO. 2, FEBRUARY 2011

Aglow International is a trans-denominational organization of Christian women and men. An estimated 200,000 people meet each month through Aglow fellowships like ours at the South Dakota Women's Prison.

Welcome, as we share the warmth of the Holy Spirit and our friendship with the Lord and each other. If this newsletter is too “wordy” for you, please don’t give up. Think paragraph, not page.

“BURNING” will include a regular feature with an important prophetic word that will be encouraging to you. This month, Cindy Jacobs records the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elder’s “2011 Word of the Lord” so that we may focus our prayers.

Are you a ‘forerunner’? The first one in your family or your cellblock to turn your heart to Jesus? Mike Bickle outlines the second “commitment of a forerunner” in the next post below.

Time to Laugh (Ecclesiastes 3:4)

A pastor, known for his lengthy sermons, noticed a man get up and leave during the middle of his message. The man returned just before the conclusion of the service. Afterwards the pastor asked the man where he had gone.

"I went to get a haircut," was the reply.

"But," said the pastor,

"why didn't you do that before the service?"

"Because," the gentleman said, "I didn't need one then."

How He Loves by John Mark Macmillan (sung by Kim Walker/Jesus Culture)
He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane - I am a tree Bending beneath
The weight of His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of
These afflictions eclipsed by glory
I realize just how beautiful You are
And how great Your affections are for me

He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us
How He loves us so

We are His portion and He is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking
So Heaven meets earth
Like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way that

He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us
How He loves us so
